In the Men’s Premier League division, the undefeated Penrith Panthers will take on the Parramatta Eels at 5.20pm. The Eels also have a wealth of past and present Australian representatives with the likes of Daniel Barton, Dylan Thompson and Jamie Stowe leading their campaign. The Eels had to defeat last year’s Vawdon Cup and State Cup champions, the Eastern Suburbs Roosters, to progress through to this weekend’s final. Last time these two met, the Panthers prevailed 6–4 winners, and with the final consisting of the two top placed teams it is sure to be close again. The Women’s Premier League division will see the Eastern Suburbs Roosters take on the undefeated Wollongong Devils at 4.25pm.
