first_img1 Tottenham’s new signing Benjamin Stambouli is working hard to make himself a first-team regular at White Hart Lane.The French midfielder joined Tottenham from Montpellier on deadline day for an undisclosed fee, after making more than 100 appearances in Ligue 1.Stambouli made his debut in the 2-2 draw with Sunderland last weekend, coming on as a 70th minute substitute, and the 24-year-old has revealed it was a tough opening test.“It was a powerful game with a good rhythm and not the easiest for my first appearance”, Stambouli told the club’s site.“I think we should have won this game but hopefully next time, we will do it.??
