VIDEO: Governor Wolf Encourages Pennsylvanians to Register to Vote on National Voter Registration Day

first_img GO-TIME,  Government That Works,  Press Release,  Videos,  Voting & Elections Harrisburg, PA – Today, in honor of National Voter Registration Day, Governor Wolf released a video encouraging Pennsylvanians to register to vote. It’s now easier and more convenient to register to vote after Governor Tom Wolf and Secretary of State Pedro Cortés announced last month that Pennsylvania is the latest state to launch Online Voter Registration.  The online registration application is now available for use by eligible citizens at register.votesPA.com. Since OVR was instituted, 13,086 applications have been submitted through register.votesPA.com.“National Voter Registration is a day to encourage people to participate in our democracy. We’ve made it easier and more convenient than ever to register to vote by launching Online Voter Registration,” Governor Wolf said. “It is about giving citizens an easier way to exercise their right to vote and establishing a clearer connection between the political system and the citizens.
